I love talking........to myself

I love watching people in their cars. It is crazy....I mean something happens when a person gets behind the wheel of their car. They change, it's like when superman would get in the telephone booth. People who are normally reserved can become total jerks behind the wheel of their car. People who are usually shy see their confidence grow by leaps and bounds....and quiet people become American Idol finalist in their own little environment. Have you ever watched a person next to you at a stop light singing along to their favorite song. I mean they are just belting it out into the air of their little automotive cubby. Safe from ridicule and for a moment become their very own little star. It used to be if you pulled up next to someone and they were talking, and nobody was in the car with them, they were certifiably crazy. Now though they have those blue tooth headsets that fit in the ear and now everybody walks around, drives around seemingly talking to themselves. I have even been walking in a mall and had someone speak in my direction and I have responded, only to be met with a finger held to the lips (international sign for be quiet) and then a finger pointing at their ear (international sign for I have a blue tooth and I am better than you.)
I on the other hand talk to myself all the time....or at least it looks like that. I mean whether I am walking or driving or sitting, or laying flat on my face I talk to an audience of no one all the time. Sometimes I am extremely focused, other time very distracted but everyday I spend time talking with someone who is unseen. From the outside I look crazy, I look like someone who forgot to take their meds. To me though, it makes sense. I spend time everyday talking to God. I know it sounds crazy, but right in the middle of the day, I speak His name and He is there. He listens and cares and it is a big part of my life.
So from the outside I look crazy, but from my perspective I would be crazy not to do it.

Take some time to read Phillipians 4:1-12 and journal some thoughts about prayer.
