Backstage Pass (Hebrews 6:19-20)

I have always wanted to go to a concert and have a back stage pass. I don't know, it is one of my life dreams to be able to flash my pass to everyone I come in contact with so people will think I am cool. No, I take that back, not flashing it around because only people who are not cool feel like they have to do that to be cool. I guess I want to have a backstage pass and just wear it, chill in the green room tasting all the awesome grub and then talk about life with superstars not just because I wear a pass but because they like me.....That would be cool

I was reminded today that this is already true in my life. Though I don't have a backstage pass badge hanging around my neck constantly I have been allowed "backstage" in the greatest and most important show on Earth. No not the circus, the show of eternal life. Jesus' completed work on the cross pathed the way behind the "curtain" veil and now I am allowed in the presence of God, allowed to relax in His presence without having to check my badge every second or show it off to everyone in the room. I can spend my life talking with the original superstar and worship Him and not be embarrassed about looking dumb, because He is actually worthy of all of it. I can eat the food and He, the superstar actually knows my name.... and loves me. I like that.
