What's up peeps?!!
I am back in town from an awesome time of retreat with the rest of the Pinelake team. I had some time to relax, refresh and refocus. The time away really gave me time to unwind and hear from God.
A couple gold nuggets I got from my time.......
In regards to my prayer, reading and journal time......
"Take your time with the time you have"
"Read for depth not for distance"
"Be an Explorer of God's word don't just be a tourist"

It is amazing how quickly something can be torn down
It is amazing how long it takes to build something
God is in the process of answering my prayers before they even leave my lips....

My name is Jason Kinney from Hampton, Virginia. A friend told me about your church and I stumbled upon this blog while looking through the website. I closely relate to one of the statements you made in your latest blog entry: "It is amazing how quickly something can be torn down...It is amazing how long it takes to build something."
My relationship with God is everything and it is awesome to know that HE is involved in building me to be like His Son. How stupid I am at times when I give into temptation or put something else in front of my passion to learn and hear from Him. How quickly that special communion can be "torn down" (at least that's how it feels).
Praise God that he is the grower and the builder - and what he plants will grow, and when he lays a foundation - the building will be completed!
