Clean at the Crib (Psalm 101:2)

I love my house! After 10 years of marriage and 9 moves we have finally found a place that fits us just right... My house is a place of refuge, a place where I can just be myself. A place were I can just kick up my feet, drop all titles and expectations and relax. It can also be a place where I let my guard down, a place I can find myself being most careless with my heart and mind. Behind closed doors, with no audience to perform for or please I can find my heart becoming increasingly selfish and my desires quickly becoming far from the heart of God. I love what David says in this song. "I will walk in my house with blameless heart." If a man can walk in his house blameless, with no audience, with no expectations....If a man can walk blameless in the privacy of his own home....then he my friends is the real deal....

I pray today that my heart would be blameless before you even in my private moments, with no expectations. May the privacy of my home reveal a passionate relationship with you, a genuine dedication to your ways and your heart.

"Your reputation is merely an illusion if it is not a mirror image of your character"
